I have been working at Federal Government full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits and pay. In most cases, chances for promotion are very good.

    Cons

The Federal Government may become downsized or not the Federal Government as we may have known it in past years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees with dignity and respect. Treat them as adults and not teenagers in high school? After all, most of us are older and more knowledgeable than you are from years of experience.
