I worked at Federal Reserve Bank (NY)

Pros

Offers good work-life balance. Perfect for working women with families, those who are looking to retire or a stepping stone to other careers in the financial sector.

Cons

Some people work long hours while others are able to slide by, doing minimal amount of work.

Advancing in your career at the Fed is based on favoritism, not merit.

Pay is not satisfactory.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make promotions based on merit.
