+ high name recongition
+ good exposure to importnat issues
+ relatively good compensation, very good work-life balance
+ generally a good group of people throughout the Bank
+ generally positive attitude toward employees

Cons

- lacks growth potential within the Bank
- sometimes hierarchy could be felt
- could be over-cautious at times when dealing with emerging issues

Advice to ManagementAdvice

+ provide more growth potential, especially for young talents if you want them to stay
+ reduce hierarchical structure
+ create rotational programs within the Bank to allow cross-exposure

    Pros

    Fair compensation, real opportunity for advancement, excellent benefits, highly educated staff, employees with many years of experience with the Fed system. Easy access to very high levels of management within the Bank. Company is well-recognized throughout the Nation. Executive management is honest with staff about how company is perceived in the public eye. Opportunity to be a public servant. Management shares with staff detailed information about how they can improve their workplace habits, and how to move up in the company.

    Cons

    Hours can be long. Public perception of the Bank can be negative.

    Be sure to always take time to recognize all of the talents that your staff possess.
