Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis – “Fed Up.”
Pros
The benefits, e.g.; insurance and retirement are good. Work is easy. So its easy money. Overstaffed, little to do. Most of the Fed's services are gone or are going away and they continue to hire, build new expensive state of the art buildings and fill them to the brim with staff just to maintain the status quo. They're trying to project an image to the public that nothing has changed. when in fact it is an organization in severe decline.
Cons
Senior management is incompetent, biased against African Americans, older employees over 50, women, and arrogant. Its a 50's management style, where the senior management makes $200,000 and up and the rest make little. Senior management expects everyone to kiss upto them and treat them like royalty. If not then you are going no where or will be fired.
Advice to Senior Management
Leave and let someone who has a diverse, and competent set of skills replace you.
