On a downward curve over the last three to four years due to constant management and org churn.

    Pros

Fidelity has a good compensation program, which gets better at the most senior levels. Has a greta number of very talented people who are always trying to improve business results.

    Cons

Company projects a sesne of uncertainty at the top. Significant churn in the most senior ranks tends to lead to continous changes in direction. Matters more who you know rather than what you know. Constantly laying people off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need stability and sense of direction.

    I worked at Fidelity Investments

    Pros

Fidelity has a good benefits package... decent salary and retirement program... there is flexability in being able to accomodate a work life balance for the most part but keep it mind, it will come with a cost... typically you not getting paid.

    Cons

Fidelity is run by a certain group of individuals. Most of the management and senior management are brought in from their headquarters in Boston... so if you think your going to get someone that understands anything about the culture of where you are living, you are wrong. They play favorites and there is alot of backbitting and position jocking happening on a continual basis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Its time to say what you mean and mean what you say. When you say that someone if going to be promoted or otherwise given advancement opportunities: do it!
