Pros

Great Co-Workers, Excellent Benefits, Good Hours

Cons

Senior Management don't know how to do their job, Not good at delegating responsibility to Associates, Under-staffed, Could have a better Training schedule/program for new hires.

Advice to Management

Try getting feedback from New hires and current employees, hire more people, try to create a friendly work culture, try to make new hires feel comfortable, work on boosting employee morale, have more department socials - it helps create efficiency.

    Pros

Profit Sharing, Health Insurance, Life/Work Balance, 7% match + 10% profit sharing into your 401k annually, frequently provided lunch when it was busy.

    Cons

Huge company so there is often too much information to keep up on regarding other business units. As is the case in this industry there is so much waste (both time and resources) due to unnecessary and useless regulations.

  2. Continuous improvement makes for continual employment

    Pros

Continuous improvement both technically and professionally is one of the basis-es of employment. FI holds all employees, business partners, vendors, and contractors accountable to the highest ethical standards. Management is diverse, but most will provide defined expectations to give their employees the ability to improve and grow. FI provides decent compensation to their employees. The work environment is great = great people, quality professionals.

    Cons

Management expects proof of ability over word. This means if you are being considered for a promotion, such an employee is given the ability to prove their abilities.

    Advice to Management

Be mindful of employees and managers who have not progressed in more than 5 years (look at responsibilities versus titles). Too many in the same positions or performing responsibilities over the last 10 years causes extreme favoritism, gender biases, and looses the company assets.
