Pros

Excellent Benefits, Flexible Hours, Competitive Pay, Volunteered Time Off, Competitive Bonus System

Cons

mo·not·o·nous IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT, Poor Bonus System, "Middle School Reward System", Poor Technology, Lazy Co-workers. Brown Nosed Stuck Up Arrogant individuals thinking they are better than you because they are "managers of a call center." The hiring process does not make you aware that this is ENTIRELY a PHONE JOB! BE AWARE OF WHAT YOUR GETTING YOURSELF INTO!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to people on the front line, not managers you hire from the outside that have never performed the job! Treat people like they are adults, not in middle school! Example...Retaining thousands of dollars for the company on a daily basis and being rewarded with a "bag of chips, or candy bar" and a thank you from your manager.

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

It is unlikely that you'll ever get bored in a role at Fidelity. However, if you do get bored or feel like you need a new challenge, Fidelity is usually able to accommodate! Along with mobility, you get experience, and with experience you become more valuable to the company. Fidelity is very good about allowing its employees to gain other experience.

    Cons

The company is very numbers-driven so, with that said, it should come as no shock that meeting and exceeding rigid quotas is of utmost importance...to the point where quality is sacrificed just to 'crank out the numbers.'

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be a better balance between quality and quantity. That is the age-old controversy but it is something that needs to be confronted head-on. Customers and employees ultimately lose when numbers are given more importance than quality. Quality will retain customers and hard-working employees.
