Reasonably good post-undergrad role (Financial Representative on phones for Retail Brokerage business)

Financial Representative (Former Employee)

Pros- Competitive benefits
- Job security that comes with working for a private company
- Robust support to attain your Series 7 securities license
- Good base education in personal finance
- Strong customer-first culture

Cons- Overtime was expected rather than a differentiating factor for representatives
- Limited opportunities for interaction with colleagues
- Lunch was effectively timed and was limited to 30 minutes
- You may be stuck with a frustrating shift with odd times (my first one was M,W,F,Sat 10pm-8pm)

Advice to Senior Management- Provide more flexiblity for representatives to be off the phone

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
