Institutional Trade Support

Institutional Trade Support (Former Employee)
Jersey City, NJ

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time for more than 3 years

ProsIt is a very fast pace role with hundreds of phone calls and trade issues need to be addressed on the daily basis. Such environment is good for a entry level individuals who would like to establish his/her career in trading. The team that I worked with are fabulous individuals with great industry knowledge and years of experience.

ConsSince it is family own, you really have to play politics well to survive and move up. There are individuals in the management team that are really not suitable for their roles while others that are really capable got ouster after losing the political fight. Also Fido's salary is kind of lag behind the industry, so do expect getting paid a little less than the peers.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
