Pros

Extremely competitive pay and benefits. Paid training. Company actually practices what they preach when they say they balance employees, clients, and the firm.

Cons

Working for a large corp means sometimes your interests can get lost in the infrastructure, but its easy to get lost at any big company. Fidelity goes a long way to try and make you comfortable.

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Work-life balance, professionalism, stability, very generous retirement, very good other benefits (health, life, disability insurance). Lots of opportunities around other parts of the company,

    Cons

Big company means many layers between you and decision-makers. Not growing quickly, so growth, though good, not as good as if it were a faster-growing company. Salaries not very high.
