Pros

An energetic, vibrant firm, drawing very bright people and giving them incredible resources to do the job. Offers numerous opportunities and career paths.

Cons

Historically strong dedication fiduciary values is softening. Asset gathering and internal politics are eroding strong values. Middle manager quote: "This is not a meritocracy."

    Pros

Pay for the area is high, easy to get into an entry level job.

    Cons

Constant policy, goal and upper management changes. No work/life balance, always what can you do for me attitude. uses its employees up and then spits them out. Company promises the world and delivers nothing. Company severances several times a year, only to expand and hire new people at lower pay.

    Advice to Management

Pick a direction and stick with it. Realize your employees are people not "personnel usables". Value your employees and you'll save more money not hiring new ones.
