Pros

Great 401K and profitsharing benefits, decent vacation paid time off, great for starting and entering brokerage and investments world, great training , awesome tools and platform, a lot of hand holding towards begging in one word, if you are just starting this is a place to be.

Cons

Company is privatelly own ,which means top managment is forced upon , as natural way of passing on wealth. One of the top executives has no knowledge of various market segments which impacts potential growth of certain areas in the market, example fixed income. This company has so many products and many are Great , affordable and trully sell themselves but managment is lacking fundamental marketing and sales skills. Lower end managers have came to their positons because they stayed many years with a company , and trully if they were that good they wouldn't stay in those places long.A lot of managers don't understand what company and business growth trully means and are very micro oriented on to a specific task and unable to view and understand a big picture.
For someone very ambitious and creative there is no place within this company it's too big and there are many barriers when it comes to sharing ideas.Once you get to higher level sales there is no proper training , it's lacking because managment is lacking those skills.

Advice to Senior Management

Go trough a good evaluation of a managment knowledge / skill level and change from micro to more of a motivational/ skill passing methods.Company has great resources , learn how to intgrete into one Great Fidelity, and teach top managment various sectors of the market, not only funds , pas , fili and stocks. If you don't understand basic mechanics of various market segments it's very difficult to improve Fidelity process or gain that market share ( example Fixed Income)
