I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Benefits, large co that spends on tech, fast paced, lots of areas to work in, challenging

Cons

Change is constant and can be draining or derailing to programs, work life balance is hard to maintain with intensity expected, chance of relocation is constant

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I respect the company and what we are doing. There are always new challenges and ways to grow in your career. Lately it seems like many decisions are made based on numbers and not the people who have helped build the co and it's assets.

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great pay and benefits, very easy to get to and a commute you can really be thankful for. They spend money on technology where needed and help you get your job done.

    Cons

Who in management knows about you and what you do is somewhat luck when new mangers are always coming in. The review system is awkward and can't possibly reflect your achievements correctly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Revamp your review systems so you know who really does what and who to keep or let go during layoffs, which have been frequent, deep, and wide at Fidelity.
