Moves a bit slow as far as acceptance of new technologies are concerned but that is just a character of the company to make sure that they roll out solid products.

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

work/life balance, benefits & culture. It' a great company to start your career in a financial industry. It's also a private company, you do not have to worry about being laid off because the company's stock tanked.

    Cons

pay is horrible- it felt like a battle to get more than 5% bonuses. All of the important roles are (upper management/decision making roles) and will always be in Boston. Jobs are relocating to NH, TX, or RI.
