I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Excellent compensation and benefits. great use of new technology

    Cons

Budget cutting, near shoring and off-shoring has resulted in most technology jobs being moved out of Boston. Middle management up to senior VP level has no input on strategies so it leads to bad morale. The remaining Boston tech groups are just waiting for there turn to be moved

I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

There is a lot of focus on helping you advance your skills and career. They reward hard work and the people you work with are typically very professional and passionate about what they do. It would be very hard to leave the generous benefits and compensation once you have moved into a more advanced role.

    Cons

Sometimes it feels that senior management doesn't realize that their metrics and standards actually make it harder to help clients. They are great at taking small rocks out of the way, but the bigger rocks are next to impossible to move. Even when it is clear that they should be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Love the culture, love the benefits, just listen more to your client-facing employees.
