Current Employee - Senior Project Manager in Boston, MA

    Pros

Excellent compensation and benefits. great use of new technology

    Cons

Budget cutting, near shoring and off-shoring has resulted in most technology jobs being moved out of Boston. Middle management up to senior VP level has no input on strategies so it leads to bad morale. The remaining Boston tech groups are just waiting for there turn to be moved

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
  2.

Deteriorating culture, talent pool diminishing , management self serving, seasoned reps run.

    Current Employee - Vice President
    Current Employee - Vice President

    Pros

Fast promotion early phase career due to seasoned talent leaving pockets for movement.
    Fair work life balance.
    Free coffee.
Benefits are ok but they are slowly being taking away
50 years of brand recognition (good)
    Great relationships with peers.

    Cons

Firm having identity crises. Technology is getting worse with wasteful spending. Clients are treated like numbers, now that reps are forced to act like a Wire house brokers. I
Don't know many SAE's who want to stay. They are all looking they just don't want the firm to know. Reps know company surveys to employees can be pulled so it's incorrect data.
Micro management is immense!!! They even make the reps enter the data for the spreadsheets for upper management. Reps can not even do their job with these time wasters.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work from home? 1 or 2 days a week?
Give your revenue producers a raise don't cut their pay like you did recently nationally
When was the last time you investigated your leadership through the eyes of the employees?
    Who is in charge?
TOA out ratio? It isn't the employees, it's you! Self preservation clouds the truth.

    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
