Pros

Great benefits! Pretty flexible. Team environment. They do their best to make sure you are properly trained and alway put the customer first.

Cons

It's a phone job... Can get very monotonous, some of the management team has not done the job so they don't understand exactly.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to be more flexible.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Albuquerque, NM

I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits to regular full time and regular part time employees in terms of medical, dental, and vision- the higher coverage plan has a higher cost passed onto the employee. 401k plan available with matching.

    Cons

In the Albuquerque site, favoritism runs rampant. Managers play favorites with staff and will ignore employee concerns, this problem extends up to directors as well. Also, Albuquerque is excluded from the profit sharing benefit that ALL OTHER SITES enjoy and pay is low for the job. They will try and convince you the pay is appropriate, however, compared to other call centers it is lower starting by far. To be clear, this is a call center job, while it may have different ways of doing things, metrics are the only thing a manager has to use to grade your performance. If your manager doesn't like you, they can find a number of ways to get rid of you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You must listen to your employees when they bring concerns about managers to you. Very often when you do not listen, the message to your employees is that you do not value their time. If you don't value your employees' time they will do the bare minimum and look elsewhere for other employment.
