I wished my second manager, after being promoted, would have been as excellent as my first manager.

I have been working at Fidelity Investments

    Pros

Fellow employees are great. The business casual environment is a nice touch even allowing jeans on certain days. The benefits are well above average and can rack up a nice retirement if smart and utilize all outlets avaiable. Always drawings and contests happening on the campus which produce gift cards for the winners. I surfed the net to kill time on slow days.

    Cons

The work itself is mind numbing and employees are micro-managed to death. I had at least 4-7 people telling me 100 different things to do at any giving time. It is nearly impossible to succeed giving the matrix they must use to promote; meaning there is no rhyme or reason to it, they throw a dart at a board. They don't have a problem training you in different aspects of the job but only so someone else that used to do it can take a nap. Everyone hates the place that works there and thats all they talk about, all the time. If someone messes up, everyone gets yelled at for like 2 months. Gets old.

Get a clue, I see you not doing anything.
