I have been working at Financial Times full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Work/life balance, flexible working and benefits package. Pretty stress free environment and secure (for now, under Pearson ownership) job.

    Cons

Salary, lack of good leadership, some terrible hires. Since the departure of Marjorie Scardino, lots of rumours surrounding Pearson selling the FT meaning budgets are being cut.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sack the dead weight and promote those who perform well/put the extra effort in.
