Great place for someone with little to no experience.

Store Manager (Current Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsWorking in an upbeat and fun atmosphere is great. You're able to meet fun and intriguing people on a daily basis. If you're a person that loves to deal with the public its a great place. Also being in a fun segmentation like athletic footwear is great. Good product and always in the "know" about style and fashion.

ConsSales expectations without the proper development of stores and product. Management expects you to perform miracles with limited resources. The company also has a bad track record for on-going development of thriving stores, and neglecting those that need help. It's hard to create success without help from upper management. Also depending where you work there is no work life balance. Managers work every weekend and holiday. There is no type of rotation in place. When you want to take vacation something always seems to come up and you're not able to. There is a lot of fundamental changes that need to take place within the company.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere's a way to get maximum productivity out of your people without "over-working" them in the process. Learn how to be more efficient and not result to cost cutting for maximum gains.
