  1. A very good job for sneaker heads, especially if you are in college.

    Pros

Good discount, friendly co-workers, flexible with schedule, benefits, can work your way up. Overall it's a great place to work.

    Cons

Takes a while to move up to manager, etc. Persistant quality work is the key to being successful at Finish Line.

    Pros

The job is not difficult or strain you too much. The customers are generally nice, if you bring back what they are needing.

    Cons

The pay is not as high as it should be. You don't make very much commission, because most shoes are less that 80 dollars and you only make one percent commission.

    Advice to Management

Don't get too comfortable with your job. Many managers slack off and the other employees work harder than they do. You're not irreplaceable, and one day a sales associate will replace you.
