I worked at Firestone Complete Auto Care full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It's a paycheck that might pay the bills.

    Cons

No work-life balance. Non-store management doesn't seem interested in staffing stores properly yet demands employees and stores be perfect despite severely overworking front office staff. Management doesn't seem to understand that a well-run store requires a staff. Pay is fairly low for the industry and raises don't exist. Techs are extremely underpaid and overworked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It seems like a no-brainer but if you want your stores to perform, STAFF THEM instead of running your employees into the ground! Another no-brainer is that when there's an economic downturn, don't expect sales to continually explode. Why would you expect your sales to boom when everyone elses nationwide are pretty much stagnant? It's simple math. When you use the mantra, "Happy teammates, happy customers, happy company" yet do nothing to ensure employees are happy, it's an unreasonable and illogical expectation that customers or the company would be happy.

Minimum wage disguised as a "career", lies from mangement, long hours, anxiety and depression.

I worked at Firestone Complete Auto Care full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are no pros but I'm going to keep typing to satisfy the 20 word minimum requirment. I repeat there are no pros.

    Cons

Lies from management during the interview process. Specifically, they claim all their techs make good money and flag lots of hours. They will try to sucker you in with a high base rate. What they don't tell you is their labor times are literally the lowest in the industry, so the base rate is meaningless. Be prepared for long hours, no lunch breaks, and earning minimum wage.

Dishonesty is a requirement to work for the company. Your pay and even your job itself is dependent on how badly you can gouge and exploit customers.

Relentless use of corporate propoganda and brainwashing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Burn every last building to the ground.
