Best company I ever worked for!

Service Manager (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsRapid advancement opportunities, fantastic base pay, HUGE bonuses (if you are good at your job), willing to take hiring chances for management trainees. Many people consider themselves "lifers". Must be career oriented to work in this company.... not a job to be taken lightly.

Conslong hours are expected. Rarely get out of work when scheduled. Tough (not impossible) to strike a good work life balance. These issues are, to some extent, the nature of retail management. Must have a good relationship with district manager to have any chance of success

Advice to Senior Managementkeep up the good work!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Good traning, horrible management, bad pay, and unrealistic goals

Master Technician (Former Employee) Vancouver, WA

I worked at Firestone Complete Auto Care full-time for less than a year

Pros: Some of the best traning in the industry, rewarded for getting ASE certifications, ($250… Cons: Management is all numbers driven, if you don't meet expectations you are replaced, demoted, or terminated. You are guaranteed 75% of your clock hours, up… Advice to Senior Management: Pay your technicians what they are worth, stop treating employees like they are numbers instead of human beings. Adjust flat rate times and/or technician pay… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Completely unappreciated, used as a laboring robot at minimum wage.

General Service Technician (Former Employee) Norridge, IL

I worked at Firestone Complete Auto Care part-time for less than a year

Pros: A way to enter the automotive repair field and room… Cons: Horrible wages, hard work, faced-paced, unappreciated, management didn't take harassment seriously when an employee was acting like… Advice to Senior Management: Make sure you hire people who will represent your company in… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
