Pros

Legacy Concord was a great company with great management. Great Benefits Good Salary Good middle management Flexible work from home schedule

Cons

First Data management is awful. All my customers, Fortune 50 companies, were angry and looking for alternatives to First Data. No customer focus. Top Down, no leadership. They took an big box mentaility and tried to apply this to a service company. No respect for work/life balance. You will get no benefit for working 70 to 80 hours a week while your peers work 30 or 40. No accountability.

Advice to Management

Fire yourselves. If there is a C in your title leave.

    Advice to Management

    Learn to take care of your employees because they deal directly with your merchants. The upper management seemed to have different visions for the future of the company and thus conflicting goals for the employees. In the end it caused many people to look for other opportunities outside of the company. Management also tended to tell us how the company was supposed to work rather than look at how it actually did work. This causes issues when goals are not consistent with what is the reality within the different job positions.

    Pros

    Great location from home some convenient places to eat for lunch

    Cons

    Terrible, terrible management. No communication from management and direction on what is needed. Employees do not talk to contractors or really with each other, very strange corporate culture there. Most work remotely and so there is very little in person meetings. Very slow work pace, pretty much boring. Typically do not give out pay raises.

    Advice to Management

    Have a REAL open door policy with all resources not just with full-time employees. Spend time letting all know what you want and be willing to answer questions as they occur.
