First Data Senior Quality :   (Past Employee - 2009)

Pros

benefits are great
a few co-workers are nice
clean facilities

Cons

management and hr personnel have no college degrees and do not know how to handle any employee complaints. there is no open door policy. there is no confidentiality. there is plenty of retalitation especially if u tell on those they like. there is no accountability for anyone. if the manager likes u, then u will get a fair raise, if not expect 0%. there is no open communication. they degrade u and belittle ur abilities. no one keeps track of anything, management sits in their office from 7 to 4 everyday and not once do they come to the production floor to check on their supervisors or their agents. most sups are on the internet because they have what they call escalations desk handling their calls for them, so the sup doesnt deal with the customers. there is no development training/coaching for the agents provided by the supervisors, because the supervisors are not trained to do so.

Advice to Senior Management

well first they need to clean house and really learn to hire those with college degrees vs looks and kissing butt people who think they know what they are doing. theres really a difference between those with degrees and those that are immature and act like the girls in the movie mean girls. work on using the open door policy, follow up on complaints and concerns in a confidential manner and train to develop those supervisors and management on a daily basis and hold them accountable for their actions.

Yes retalitation is expected from HR and Management. Criminal threatening, intimidation, identity theft, safety hazards and much more allowed by TOTALLY incompetent, uncaring, unfair leadership. Internet surfing allowed because leadership, from Team Leads to Board of Directors far too stupid to fairly and fully implement corporate guidelines and policies anyway. Immature HR and Management remain clueless in developing respectable customer service, safe working conditions and proper business practices. No company worse than FDC. More Federal investigations warranted.

One doesn't need to be an achiever, lead a moral existence, or do anything at all for that matter - all one needs to do is shed his human individuality and not ask questions.
