Pros

Great people to work with below VP, these are the true contributors to the company's survival

Cons

Flatten your senior management structure, get rid of the VPs who are not contributing anything valuable to the company (this would be most of them). The good ones have already left so those remaining are trying to hold on to grab more land or could not find something better outside. With the salary and bonus you pay to the VPs you can afford 3 hardworking employees. I worked very closely with most VPs, they are incompetent, opportunists, crush their teams while brown nosing their leaders and don't get out of their comfort zone.

First Data no longer shows any value to their employees.

    Pros

There are great colleagues to work beside who are very helpful, humble and always willing to assist. You will obtain a great wealth of knowledge that you can carry forward.

    Cons

CEO hires on partners for millions of dollars from his previous employer. This resulted in FD paying 10 million dollar fine. CEO says he hates layoffs and doesn't believe in them. Sad to think some people believed this. We have went through the largest re-org in the history of the company resulting in hundreds and hundreds of layoffs and terminations. 401K no longer is matched, we no longer support non profit organizations, vacation time was taken away, no merits, no room for improvement and the ones that remain are picking up a workload nearly impossible to keep up with because the ones that aren't termed or laid off are quitting left and right. Tenured employees with years of dedication are shown no value or appreciation by new upper management. They only care about one thing. What looks good on paper in order to get out from KKR and go public. There are no cuts at upper management level. Oh and did i mention the health insurance??? Let's just say it's a joke.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't expect to take away from all the tiered employees and still think you'll stay afloat. Heads up geniuses...you NEED US! The smart ones are leaving you high and dry as they should.
