    Pros

I've worked for this company twice in the past ten years at 3 different properties. The reasons for the high scores regarding recognition, support and appreciation were based solely on the management at each separate property location. I was lucky enough to have not only a great management team but support staff as well. If you had a great GM and support staff, you were very luckly. The problem with this organization is the upper management who are unprofessional, inpersonal, always looking to place blame but offer no solutions or finances to fix internal problems or items that are broken and need to be replaced.

    Cons

You gotta wonder about a company whose ENTIRE HR DEPARTMENT walked off the job and quit! The department was sick of dealing with the same closed minded, long term, going nowhere, cheap stuffed suits who refused to look at things in a different angle to improve the organization and move forward. They have many different brands and flags within their portfolio of hotels within the Midwest but yet other than 1 annual Awards Event that upper management at the individual properties are allowed to attend, they do NOTHING to bring these properties together for any other type of training, team building, or company events. The hourly people are the ones that deal with the guests and customers that pay their salaries but yet I've seen first hand upper management come into a hotel and ask to speak to the GM or anyone else within the upper management staff WITHOUT taking a moment to even stop and introduce themself to that hourly employee. It's like they are too good or better than them. If that isn't what they are thinking then why have I and numerous other people seen and commented on this?
