I worked at First Med Urgent Medical Care

Pros

Good work environment with competent doctors along with a business and nurse staff contained in a company that is customer friendly and efficient.

Cons

Sometimes some of the doctors working there tend to have a very elitest attitude that a few of them just don't seem to lose.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would say to just keep doing what you're doing. The continued hard work being put into the place will pay off.

I have been working at First Med Urgent Medical Care

    Pros

Strong on site training. Flexible schedule. Tuition reimbursement is a plus. CME benefit is higher than average. Staff is friendly and responsive.

    Cons

There are few chances for advancement. The medical directors in each region run several clinics and quickly take over any opening clinics. The only time that advancement is available is through loss of current employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Limit directors to two clinics. Have a mandatory assistant medical director at each center and have this pool of physicians as the pool from which to select new medical directors.
