Flexible hours if you have a good manager. Good health benefits.

Out dated strategies on how to increase client satisfaction. Horrific marketing. Some goals seem to contradict the company's mission statement. Cold calling.

I have been working at First Midwest Bank full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Benefits, co-workers, locations, company values,

    Cons

Leadership is lacking at the middle management level. Too many "cooks" in the kitchen, no one is in charge. Ideas fall on deaf ears or are taken by supervisors as their own. Technology is lacking to perform job. Salaries are typically lower than competition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the slackers that have bogged down the company. Just because they have been around a number of years does not mean they are performing at a superior level. These individuals should have honest performance reviews and be demoted or let go for non performance. This is company wide.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
