I worked at Firstsource Solutions full-time (less than an year)

Pros

getting paid every 2 weeks is a positive aspect, suppose thats keeps more staff for longer, but nothing else positive to write here

Cons

Belfast Linehall - lack of management support and positive encouragement. its a tough job, but you know that when you apply. its a call centre afterall, but what you really need is a positive work culture and a happy positive vibe around you while youre working and, sometimes, taking grief. a few nice words of encouragement are all thats needed - not the continual 'taken for granted' attitude of the TLs and senior staff. Everyone moans about the shifts in there - so if you don't enjoy the company of the Jeremy Kyle audience, then Firstsource is NOT for you. 'Moaners R Us' it should be called.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Belfast Linenhall:
1. Hey bosses, have a look at your corporate website then realise that its nothing like what actualy happens at Firstsource on a daily basis. Its as different as Night & Day. Sad but true. 2; Spend some of your staff incentive money on training yourselves in how to motivate and successfully lead teams to achieve excellence.
It would be money well spent.. if me and my mates that left were still there, I know a load of us would have chipped in too. It would make a big difference - or how about getting a few 'How to Manage' books out of the library across the road - Theres a great one in there called 'Call Centres for Dummies'

    good working condition, team cohesiveness, timely salary payment, grievances handling, etc...

    Cons

    career opportunity is not satisfied as less vacancies in senior posts(TL).....

    It Better to provide some extra learning program to employees for their development of skills & competencies.
