I have been working at Fiserv

    Pros

Upper management looks out for their people.
You can grow professionally if you are ambitious and look to work hard and be good at what you do.
You'll learn a lot and it will look great on your resume.

    Cons

It's still a corporation, which means that you don't have a lot of PTO, things can take a really long time in terms of going through all the layers and there is some disconnect between teams.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Slowly but surely we're getting there, but just try to make sure that there is some coherence between teams and offices. There is the "one Fiserv" mantra but there really needs to be a push for it to actually be a reality.

They care about the bottom line, not the employees.

    I worked at Fiserv

    Pros

Fiserv has a decent benefits package. The training prepares you pretty well for what you will be getting. Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot of pros.

    Cons

Non exempt employees are treated like second class citizens. When you're first hired, they go on and on about all of the opportunities for advancement and growth. Sure, you can become a team lead (one step above associate) if you'd like to wait around and kiss butt for 7 years. But if you actually want to have a productive and fulfilling career, don't go to go Fiserv. They make changes/decisions that do not take the employee into account and they are clearly only concerned about their bottom line.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management neeeds to take the employees thoughts and concerns into more consideration. Unhappy employees make for unproductive employees. If you're so concerned about your bottom line, maybe you should focus on improving your employee experience...you'd see your profits go up.
