I have been working at Fiserv full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Generally a supportive managerial structure combined with a non micromanaged environment allows you to do your job efficiently.

Cons

With the retirement of the founder a few years ago, the new CEO has been determined to force a big corporate feel company wide which is not what the approach was prior. In my opinion it has taken a lot away from what made Fiserv Fi\serv.

Advice to Management

Keep plugin and chuggin.

I have been working at Fiserv full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fantastic campus in Norcross with cafeteria, walking trails, gym and racquetball court. Good product line.

    Cons

So focused on financials they lose sight of quality and impact of low moral on products and customers. Ridiculous annual raise philosophy that results in low moral, turnover, and industry reputation of sweatshop. Have lost the backbone talent from their acquisitions due to suffocating politics, micro management, and cut to the bone budgets.

    Advice to Management

Build the people infrastructure and set goals to enable you to accomplish the long term vision. Stop sacrificing morale and the engine (people) that are paramount to realizing the long term vision. Empower the talent and stop the 'chain of command' roadblocks that have transformed a 1 day decision into a couple weeks because every level lacks confidence and must touch it.
