I worked at Five Guys Burgers & Fries full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Great bonus structure, employees feel valued, fun work environment, excellent food, quality product. Highly competitive salary and workload for crew members vs other fast food chains.

Cons

Salaries not always comparative to others in the field for managers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more in developing from within instead of hiring in at high levels, best way to foster the great ideals of Five Guys is to instill them from "childhood".

I have been working at Five Guys Burgers & Fries part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The food is really good and when you work you get a free meal. They are also very laid back.

    Cons

The entire staff doesn't speak English or cannot speak it very well. I spend the entire day thinking, what did he say? You also never know what you are working until the Sunday of.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the schedules out earlier and when you have someone training a new employee make sure they both speak the same language.
