I worked at Flextronics full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Able to expose under working environment of multi-culture

Cons

Strong office politic and military style management. Engineer bears Unreasonable workload at environment where teamwork & integrity is lacking.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay respect to employee & their welfare. Be reasonable & neutral. Pay attention on the root cause of high turn over rate

    I worked at Flextronics full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Freedom to do things without constant supervision. Bosses usually let you do your own thing to get job done.

    Cons

    Career growth almost non-existent, very hierachical based. Depending on your bosses you get very different treatment. Shut down is very frequent, HR policies and management style causes extrinsic reward to become very little year by year. Promotion is given only when they want something from you not because of true appreciation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treating your employees as tools don't work anymore. Treat with respect and don't give talks on appreciation when you don't mean it.
