Outdated management imposing rules for fear of change

I have been working at Flextronics full-time for more than a year

Pros- lean management; you get to work directly with senior managements
- friendly and dynamic workflow, always on the run
- if willing, a lot of opportunities for different responsibilities and jobs
- multicultural

Cons- tight budget
- average, not competitive pay and benefits
- too many rules and regulations even for people in non-production line
- senior managements are old fashioned and hardly open to new ideas
- i guess the only way to get more money is to get out and get back in here
- too much hiring, too little training and development. Paying a performer double the salary is better than hiring 2 retirees. Bigger pay begets loyalty and retain talents.
- whistle blower culture, promotes back stabbing which demotes trust. Wouldn't need to impose this kind of culture had you focused on hiring only people with integrity
- need more people who can speak english, due to multicultural, dire need of mastery of a common language

Advice to Senior Management- too many retirees lying around, please review your performance review system
- the factories and systems seriously need a makeover. Invest a bit of money won't hurt after decades of staying the same, same goes to senior management's mentality
- need more training and clearer document management system

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
