Pros

You are truly able to affect the lives of the students on campus, and work with administration as you tackle the issues of the student body.

Cons

Sadly, this isn't a paid position. This is to insure that the programing that we do is able to thrive . This job is a labor of love.

Advice to Management

The work-life balance is truly at an individual level.

    Pros

You work independently a lot, recreation incentives at the REZ, great location. Beautiful place to teach and live.

    Cons

A low salary is the main con. However, this was for a grad assistantship, so you would expect that. You have to be comfortable working independently on planning and teaching classes.

    Advice to Management

I love Florida State but more employees deserve more.

  2. Great place to work for student assistants.
