Pros

Waterjet is a great technology and has a great potential for many applications. Flow is the leading company in the waterjet technology.

Cons

Compensations and benefits are not competitive by the market standards. As many other companies, it is in cost saving mode and gives very small vacation hours.

Advice to Management

We need to keep talented people and bring more. To the end please compensate talented employees better and restore vacation hours.

    Pros

Great people to work with, many are very customer focused (whether internal or external) and dedicated to improving the company. They have very cool product that is used in a wide variety of industries. Culture and values, below senior management is high. Hopefully when the new owners sell the company, those will still be in place.

    Cons

Senior management has changed and is looking to increase profits--often by lowering cost. Easy way to lower cost is downsize, which is happening at the moment. Doesn't matter how long the person has been there or how much knowledge and experience they have. Long term employees are expensive.

    Advice to Management

New employees are cheaper but don't have the product and customer knowledge that only develops over time.
