Pros

I love the benefits package that is offered. Opportunities to move around the company to different locations around the world.

Cons

The "Global Compensation Team" offered me a salary that is 30k less that what was expected and what I have been garnering for years. Feel like the salary was offered by taking advantage of the uplift provisions hoping to compensate for the lesser base salary.

Advice to Management

If you want to keep good people around, offer more Out of Cycle raises and promotions.

    Pros

As a global company, you have the opportunity to take your career in many directions and even to far-flung global locations, if you desire. Being a part of Fluor can open other doors as well.

    Cons

As with many older, large enterprises, there is a certain amount of bureaucracy that you have to deal with. This can be frustrating.

    Advice to Management

Fluor tends to think of IT as very unique, and we create problems for ourselves by being overly cautious. We need to be more agile in adopting technology.

  2. Challenging, the assignments take you to your limit
