I worked at Fluor full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

The company they sent me to as an outside contractor was terriffic. Extremely nice people to work with especially the AVP Site & Facility and Purchasing Manager.

Cons

The supervisor I worked with unfortunately lied and I found out about it and I was fired for it because I went over his head to find out the truth.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The supervisor should have told me the truth in the first place that I was not getting a raise that year and would have been accepted without question.

I worked at Fluor full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Majority of individuals have a good salary, good schedule if your in the corporate office, and time off with pay is very reasonable.

    Cons

Some individuals have higher salaries based on who they know, not their talent; schedules on projects are horrible, Individuals have to sacrafice being with significant other or family to make money on man camps. Most projects are not in areas that people can or want to live.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote qualified people within and you won't have to hire from outside and be open to new age systems and social media. Management needs to change and consider the future of this company.

    Negative Outlook
