Food Lion – “A fair review for a demanding position”

Pros

The benefits are outstanding. The pay is another good aspect of the job, but you may have to fight to get the pay you really deserve.

Cons

Having to deal with too many tasks for one position. The Customer Service & Sales Manager position is one of the toughest jobs to do at Food Lion. Not only must you run an efficient front end, but you must also be the MOD (Manager-on-Duty) when the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager are unavailable.

Advice to Senior Management

Consider downsizing the job load of certain postions, even if it means reallocation of wages to certain tasks. Employees in these positions may not be able to enjoy their job.
