    Pros

    Some good people to work with. There is opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

    Not enough Ft positions, hard to have pride of department working 20 or less hours a week. Longer training to sufficiently learn tasks. Extremely high expectations, little time to complete. Hard to have great customer service if department 's can't staff adequately. SOPs some extreme and unnecessary. Simplify, it's groceries, get them on floor for customers to purchase (sufficient staffing would help)

    Advice to Management

    Labor model too low, need wokers to get work done. Truly elevate if that is what you are saying. Get out of habit of micro managing. Ideas are just that, not right of wrong.

    Pros

    Fellow associates are fun to work with. Love our customers.

    Cons

    Bad Pay, poor or nonexistent raises. Hours for part time cut to 28 hours a week meaning more cashiers, more office people resulting in less customer service. Hard work is not recognized by upper management nor is good work performance. Not a good place to work if you are an adult and care about your job.

    Advice to Management

    Customers like seeing the same people every time they shop they develop relationships with our associates. This is what keeps them coming back. Keep cutting hours from those who are the "Face" Food Lion and we'll be just another Walmart wanna be.. Bring back old fashion Customer Service. Curb Service, Bag boys, and give your employees hours so they can earn a decent wage. Keep an eye on you Store Managers they are never around but for company. There off playing golf.
