I worked at Foot Locker part-time (less than an year)

Pros

Cool people, one of the managers was pretty awesome but he left to go back to a store he previously worked at. You can get a decent amount of hours.

Cons

Very regimented work environment. The managers push a lot of corporate researched sales strategies and make you do a lot of up-selling which basically never works. They actually make you watch those cheesy corporate videos at the beginning of employment. Job gets boring.

I have been working at Foot Locker full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

This was a great starter job, and gave me a good opportunity to gain experience and move up without requiring a degree.

    Cons

The company preaches quality of life, but does not back it up. If you aspire to move up in the company, be prepared to kiss your personal life goodbye.
There are many levels of responsibility that are not reflected in pay scale. Pay is based solely on the volume of the store you work in, not the responsibilities you have throughout the district. There are no raises based on longevity or seniority.
