Pros

The pros are that I have complete responsibiltiy as an Assistant Manager as far as running the store, having keys to the store, everything you can imagine as far as being a manager for a retail store.

Cons

Where do I start. I'm underpaid barely making more than minimal wage, the commission is terrible espcially if you work in a low volume store such as I do. You are still part time and can not work any more than 25 hours a week which means no benifits besides an employee discount which I rarely use since I dont want to give my money back to the company like that. Too much responsibilities expected from you and not being fairly paid enough for what is asked of you.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop being so cheap and underpaying people to manage your stores because this position is really a joke and a way for the company to get what they want out of a manager but not paying somebody to be a manager.
