    Pros

Employee Discount at Champs, FL, Foot Action, CCS, and Ladies FL, easier chance of getting new releases, see new shoes before they drop, ability to make more than minimum wage, one of the only places you can wear athletic shoes, loose fitting uniform (Dri-Fit T shirt and grey cargo shorts), Positive environment

    Cons

Base pay is less than minimum wage, often times low hours, won't know next week's schedule until the Thursday beforehand, often short (3-hour) shifts, not enough employees working at busy times; too many for slow times

    Advice to Management

Specific stores like Mayfair in Wisconsin and Chicago in Illinois are receiving crazy amounts of shipment (nearly 100 pairs) of releases like Jordan Retros, Nike Basketball Players' shoes, etc., and then there are smaller stores that are being held back and unable to grow because they don't get anywhere close to the same amount. The store I work at BARELY gets a few general releases every once in awhile, but only 12 pairs (equating to barely over a size run), where stores like Southridge and Mayfair received nearly 100. Personally, I feel that only sending these releases to one location per state hinders growth of other stores in the states. People are often turned away from my store once they realize that the release they are looking for is 15 minutes away, and the customer is never seen again. After working at Champs for nine months, NEVER have I seen Kobes or KDs on our shelves (only recently did we start getting Lebron XIs) unless through a return. I believe that sending a few more releases to some smaller stores would redistribute customers to more stores, and would help them grow into some of the House of Hoops, Nike Yardline at Champs, and other behemoth locations.
