Cons

Very limited career progression opportunities. Highly silo'ed organizations. No cross functional leadership programs. Not a lot of diversity in management. Lack of tuition assistance and/or other developmental training. Management happy to have high potential employees stay in the same job year after year instead of looking for development opportunities. Given this, many leave the company and those who are left are middle to low performers.

Advice to Senior Management

Re-evaluate the leadership programs to be more cross functional and allow employees to grow in the company.
