Pros

The people I worked with were phenomenal! I was there for 4 years and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Good atmosphere. Cute clothes.

Cons

Only 10% off discount for employees. Company has strict policy that some customers don't agree with so constant upset customers.

    Pros

Interview was laid back and easy. Get to watch the racks and get first dibs on sale items. People are generally nice, I've made some cool connections.

    Cons

The managers in my store are extremely unprofessional. They have "favorites" and are very rude to those who aren't. I've had one of them talk down to me because I asked how to do something that I'd never done before. Scheduling is horrific. It's posted weekly at the end of each week. I'm rarely worked on shifts at this time of the week and if I call for my schedule I'm told to go to the store to get it myself. I live 25 mins away from the store, and they don't seem to care. If the managers were more organized and professional and the whole thing wasn't a popularity contest, I would love my job. But I don't. Sadly I need it to pay the bills.

    Advice to Management

Get yourselves organized and stop treating your employees as your friends. This is a WORK environment and should be treated as such. Yes, you can chat with people and have fun, but not if it is interfering with your work quality. Maybe I have high expectations at work because I was raised by my father who was a manager for 25 years, but I honestly don't think this is too much to ask.
