Pros

Learned a lot in a little time. Was given a lot of responsibility right away, which was good for me.

Cons

Need to be able to work over 40 hours and be able to have your weekends open in case of meetings. Can be very chaotic and management needs to be re-organized.

Advice to Management

Re-organize and make sure there is management for every department. Need to make sure that employees know what is right and wrong to do/say in the workplace.

    Pros

Forever Collectibles rewards hard work and people that share the company's "FoCo" culture. Personal and professional growth are not only possible, but is rather encouraged and expected through hard work. Being at Forever Collectibles you get the feeling of being part of something that is unique. I don't know many workplaces where you are allowed to work out in the middle of the day or that take you bowling mid week. Take a close look and you can see that Forever Collectibles has the potential to be the best place you'll ever work. For anyone who wants to be part of owning the struggle to create something great, this is the place.

    Cons

Forever Collectible's tremendous growth has created operational and personnel challenges across all departments in every location around the world. Leading to less staff then what is needed in particular times. Some of the benefits like PTO and insurance are average. Company values and objectives could be more clearly laid out and posted on a more regular basis. For those who prefer less entrepreneurial, challenging, and force-fed work; this is not the place.

    Advice to Management

Be transparent about the challenges you are facing from the company's growth. Develop and communicate a plan to address those challenges and regularly evaluate and update the company on that progress. Commit to attracting and retaining people that share your "FoCo" culture.

    Pros

    - mostly young people working - learn new things and gain experience - have made some improvements - free bagels, events such as bowling

    Cons

Overall, the company doesn't make sense and has no clear direction. Top management doesn't know anything about proper management or respect for their employees or just people in general. Constant yelling is heard throughout the building. They constantly delay having employee annual reviews sometimes weeks at a time. The management style is based on control. If you want to leave at 5 pm be prepared to be criticized even if all of your work is complete and you work diligently all day. You don't have much personal freedom or work life balance. They think a good employee is someone who comes in early and leaves 2 hours after the work day is complete. This lifestyle is not practical for the long term and is exhausting. The pay also does not compensate for all the hours put in and all the good work accomplished. It takes years to finally receive a pay that you might be able to live off of.

    Advice to Management

Realize that all of your employees have life outside of work and they will be happier if they have time to live it. Increase starting salary. I still don't know what the goal of the company is except make to make money mostly for the top people running the company. Focus on big picture problems that everyones complains about.
