Fortinet – “Not a bad company to work”

Pros

Great place to be if you are a total gear head. Fortinet makes an incredible product and despite lack of traditional "enterprise" market recognition has continued to grow install base world wide and revenue aggressively for the past few years.

Cons

An engineering company run by engineers some time investing in areas that make no sense while ignoring areas that scream opportunity. Fortinet's marketing makes Barracuda's look compelling. Marketing here is simply a joke and does not accurately describe the company position or ability. Communication and infrastructure is a nightmare. You are pretty much on your own here day to day unless you are in HQ.

Advice to Senior Management

Invest in infrastructure and process that enables better internal communication and get new blood in marketing with a big budget to change market perception of inability in the enterprise.
