Current Employee – been working at Foster's Americas

Pros – Some of the sites are incredibly historic and beautiful. They have great wines in the portfolio. Excellent benefit package one of the better ones in the industry.

Cons – Lack of communication and vision from upper management. After 2 years of slash and burn cost cutting that involved layoffs of longtime employees, focus now is on top line revenue, however inspirational leadership and ideas are lacking. People are being managed by fear. All employees feel that the wine division is for sale and all actions taken by upper management indicate that it is, but they still deny it. Quality people are leaving the company.

Advice to Senior Management – Fear does not motivate people to perform. Listen to your employees and be honest with them. You should be modeling the performance you desire, walk the talk.
