    No opinion of CEO
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Benefits Some People Prestige Global Presence Opportunity for internal transfer if you are really lucky.

    Cons

Poor Social Interaction Highly Competitive Poor Work-Life Balance Creativity is Stifled The Golden Rule is no longer made a priority Too many HR staff not working for the actual employees they are supposed to represent.

    Advice to Management

Take a close look at HR. They are more of a hinder than a help to employees. There are too many of them and they don't add value. The culture in some parts of the company has become phony- all talk, no action with regard to the golden rule. Respect your employees work-life balance. Working hard is one thing, but we all don't live to work.

    Pros

Luxury environment, management who cares for staff and guests, employees are proud to be with Four Seasons, guests are affluent, possibility to grow within company, many training courses, strongly service orientated, amazing website.

    Cons

Slow promotion, slow international transfer, too long working hours, occasionally extra demanding guests with no respect to staff, weak architecture and design.

    Advice to Management

Work more on design, architecture, hire a well known designer and architect to make the value of properties more (actually the owners are very much involved, but still, they need to be convinced that the value of their property will be more). Use the likes of Pierre Yves Rochon. Some resorts look average compared to other newer ones (e.g. Maldives).
