I worked at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen, & Loewy as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

The supervising attorneys and case managers are usually extremely helpful and really knowledgeable.

    Cons

The partners tend to be a bit standoffish. It is very insular, so each practice group tends to stick to its own, especially the smaller ones that are not located near the other groups. It's hard to make connections with other groups.

    Recommends
    No opinion of CEO
  2.

Former Employee - Assistant Paralegal in Chicago, IL

I worked at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen, & Loewy full-time for less than a year

    Pros

They have a great office location.

    Cons

You are thrown under the bus without any training and instructions. When you ask for assistance from co-workers and attorneys, you are give mixed answers which leaves you more confused. If you are not an attorney, you are nobody. Older staff members will find ways to blame the new employee for everything. The higher management are all about billable hours and don't care much about how the work is being done. You are given no feedback on how you should improve your performance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please be more loyal to your employees.
